Frequently asked questions about our aesthetic medical solutions

+ Remove tattoos

1). Does the skin have scars after laser removal of tattoos?

The laser tattoo removal method used in our centers is selective, that is to say that it destroys only the dye and has no effect on the skin and surrounding tissues. It does not leave burns, scars or pigment spots.

2). Can we remove tattoos from the eyes and eyebrows using the laser?

The method of removing laser tattoos used in medical laser centers “LINLINE” allows in particular to eliminate permanent makeup eyebrows and lips. The tattooing of the eyes is, unfortunately, impossible to eliminate. This is true here, as elsewhere. The problem is that the area of action directly affects the retina and that there is no laser, at the moment, able to treat this area without risk to the eye.

3). How long does the treatment take to complete a tattoo?

The duration of a complete treatment for the removal of a tattoo depends on its age, the conditions of its application, the type of dye, the location and the area occupied. For a total elimination, it is necessary to count at least three sessions, spaced of 2 to 6 months. The duration of a session is at least 15 minutes, depending on the surface to be treated.

4). What tattoos are removed by the laser?

Our lasers eliminate black and color tattoos perfectly.

5). Is it possible to completely eliminate a tattoo in one sitting?

The removal of laser tattoos is a treatment that includes at least 3 sessions, and often 8 to 10 and sometimes even more. The number of sessions depends on the depth of application, the composition of the dye and the age of the tattoo. Sessions should be spaced 2 to 6 months apart. After a first session, the tattoo clears up.

+ Laser hair removal

1). Elos Hair Removal or Hair Removal-QOOL – What to choose for dark or tanned skin?

Elos hair removal is a hair removal system in which the hair follicle is destroyed under the simultaneous effect of the energy released by the high-frequency pulsed light and electric current. “ELOS” is an abbreviation for electro-optical energy, on which the Elos hair removal method is based. “Electro” indicates the presence of bipolar radiofrequency radiation; “Optics” refers to the energy of pulsed light. Elos is therefore the combination of two types of energy. This is why Elos hair removal differs from other methods of hair removal, based only on light energy (laser or photo), or only on radio energy. Like many other hair removal methods, Elos hair removal is not performed on very tanned skin. You should avoid tanning 15 days before and 15 days after the session, as this can greatly reduce its effectiveness. In addition, treating tanned skin has the risk of causing burns, spots and scars. That’s why, if you like to stay tanned, you’ll prefer the QOOL-hair removal service which is the first method in the world to be used not only on tanned skin, but also on naturally dark or black skin. From the end of the session, you can safely go and sunbathe in the sun or UV.

2). Which laser is used for hair removal-QOOL?

We use high power solid state lasers developed by LINLINE Medical Systems. Depending on the type of skin and hair, the doctor selects one of three types of laser: neodymium, alexandrite or ruby. These lasers operate under a special patented regime that generates nanosecond pulse sequences that destroy the hair, without heating or damaging the skin in any way.

3). What does the jersey zone include?

The jersey area includes the perineal and groin area, that is, almost everything except the perianal area. To make the line of the jersey means to remove the hairs along the line of the bikini.

4). What preparation and care is required for QOOL-hair removal?

First, it is imperative to shave the hair of the area that will be treated, so that the day of the session, the length of the hair does not exceed 1 to 2mm. Second, the skin must be dry and clean. The day of the session (or rather the night before), no moisturizer, or other skin care, should have been applied to the area. In fact, we do not know which substances are used in the composition of your creams and other care products. Applying a foreign substance to the skin can clog pores, alter the penetration of the laser beam and cause discomfort. Leave your skin natural and you will get the best effect of laser hair removal. No other preparation is required. You can go about your usual activities, sunbathe in the sun or under UV light the very day of the session. No special care is needed after the session.

5). What is the effect after a session of hair removal?

As you probably know, hair growth is cyclic: after a growth phase (anagen phase), follows a short transition period (catagen phase), then a rest phase (telogen phase), when the hair has stopped its growth and falls. At the end of the telogen phase, a new hair begins to grow in the follicle. Facial hair has a relatively short telogen period, while it lasts longer for armpit and pubic hair. We can act on the hair only when it is in active growth phase, because it is at this precise moment that it forms its pigmentation and therefore that the concentration of melanin is the strongest. That is why, during a first session, we can eliminate all the hair in active phase of growth. It should be remembered that hair removal should be performed several times and its effect can be appreciated only after having followed the various sessions recommended by the doctor. What benefit will the elimination of a part of the hairs being in active phase of development at the time of the treatment? Depending on their location on the body, they represent only 10 to 30% of all hairs to eliminate. Then, when the hairs in the rest phase at the time of the first session will have fallen, new hairs will grow and it will also be necessary to eliminate them. Between the growth phases of the hair, the skin remains clean. But for how long ? This depends on the location of the hairs, since the phases follow each other at different rates depending on the areas of the body: in general, this takes place over a period of 1 to 3 months and sometimes over six months. After a first session, we usually recommend repeating the procedure again shortly after (a week or 15 days). To do what ? The fact is that during a first session, some hairs at random were able to escape the treatment, especially on large areas, such as the legs and back in men. In addition, the laser radiation stimulates the growth of part of the hair, which at the time of treatment had not yet grown and we gave a little boost.

6). What hair can I do with QOOL hair removal?

The color of the hairs determines the type of laser to use, but for the QOOL-hair removal method itself, it does not matter. Only gray hairs can not be treated.

7). The price of hair removal indicated on the site concerns a session or a cycle of sessions?

The price quoted relates to a session of hair removal-QOOL.

8). Is the depilation of the jersey possible with the QOOL-hair removal method?

Yes of course ! Laser hair removal in the jersey area is one of the most popular treatments in medical laser centers “ALFA”. Tens of thousands of patients have already benefited from the same devices used here. We are convinced that QOOL-hair removal is the best choice for intimate hair removal. It’s as if it was designed specifically for the most delicate parts of the skin of women and men. The morning before the session, or the evening before, the hair must have been carefully shaved – this will ensure the absence of any pain, even in the most sensitive places. It is also important to keep the skin clean and dry: avoid applying moisturizing creams or other care products on the day of the session and the day before. Indeed, we do not know which substances are in the composition of the products you use. Applying a foreign substance to the skin can clog pores, alter the penetration of the laser beam, and cause discomfort and irritation. Leave your skin natural and you will get the best effect of laser hair removal.

9). Is the skin irritated after QOOL-hair removal?

After a QOOL-hair removal, the skin can not be irritated, since the treatment only acts on the hair itself and its reproductive system, the surrounding tissues are not affected and even less damaged. This method also excludes the formation of ingrown hairs.

10). Can we tan before hair removal-QOOL?

Yes, it sounds amazing, but you can sunbathe in a UV cabin or in the sun before, as after the session! Indeed, the tint of the skin and the intensity of the tan are of no importance for hair removal-QOOL. It is even the first method of hair removal in the world that can be practiced on a skin of phototype VI, that is to say a black skin. Tanning is an obstacle for most other laser or photoepilation methods that only work on the combination of “white skin – dark hair”.

11). How many sessions are needed to permanently get rid of unwanted hair?

Hair removal-QOOL requires at least 6 sessions, spaced two to three weeks initially, and then depending on hair growth. The number of sessions up to 12 depending on the area (and in very rare cases even exceed this number). It is the doctor who can determine, during a preliminary consultation, the number of sessions required according to individual specificities. After the cycle of sessions prescribed by the doctor, the hair will not grow again for a long time (15 years according to current knowledge).

12). Does the QOOL-Hair Removal permanently remove hair?

Doctors working in the “ALFA” centers have not been using the laser hair removal method for long enough (15 years) to say with certainty that hair removal is definitive. Moreover, researchers have so far failed to prove whether, in principle, we could talk about permanent hair removal or not. For the sake of honesty vis-à-vis our customers, we prefer to speak of a stop of hair growth in the long term. The effect of QOOL-hair removal will differ in terms of duration for each subject treated. Indeed, each individual has its specificities and there is not one, but several factors that influence the growth of hair. Many of our clients who have benefited from the treatment have the chance to enjoy a clear and smooth skin for several years. If some isolated hairs can appear periodically, they can be quickly eliminated during maintenance sessions. For more information, visit the section on scientific research.

During a preliminary consultation, the doctor assesses the need and the number of sessions and predicts the result that will be obtained. In addition, the MULTILINE laser complex ensures strict control of the penetration depth of the radiation, which precludes any risk of burns, scars or pigment spots.

+ Stretch marks

1). Which stretch marks are best removed: “young” or “old”?

Stretch marks should be better started until the scar tissue is fully formed when they are still reddish. In this case, therapeutic treatments, such as massage and mesotherapy can overcome and treatment will be faster.

2). What stretch mark treatments do you suggest?

The doctor determines the treatment plan to be followed and its duration during a prior consultation.

+ RecoSMA™ laser rejuvenation

1). How does RecoSMA ™ differ from split thermolysis?

RecoSMA ™ and fractional thermolysis have a common goal: to fight against age-related changes – tighten skin, smooth wrinkles, reduce pores. Stimulating the formation of new collagen, these methods provide a lifting effect. But their differences are important. RecoSMA ™ as well as fractional thermolysis are laser techniques. They consist in creating micro-spots in the skin, without damaging it, in order to cause a regeneration reaction. The micro-lesions created under the laser pulse initiate the process of intensive reconstruction of the structure of the skin over the entire treated surface. In this, the two methods are similar. Their difference lies in the diameter of the microbeams that act on the skin. The effect of the facelift depends largely on the depth of radiation, the diameter and the amount of points affected in one pulse. The special feature of the Multiline ™ medical laser used for RecoSMA ™ is the application of a micro-thermolysis system that distributes the energy of the laser beam on microbeams with a diameter of less than 50 nanometers. to say thinner than a hair. This results in a number of points per pulse per square centimeter of the order of 10,000. The apparatus by means of which the fractional thermolysis is carried out makes it possible to reduce the diameter of the rays to 150-250 nanometers and to obtain approximately one thousand points per square centimeter. With a beam action diameter of only a few tens of nanometers, the skin remains visibly unaltered. Another advantage of RecoSMA ™ is the absence of overheating of the treated tissues, making the procedure of RecoSMA ™ painless compared to traditional fractional thermolysis.

2). Does RecoSMA ™ help get rid of expression lines?

The RecoSMA ™ does not aim to eliminate wrinkles: it is your body that will take care of itself, after the RecoSMA ™ has helped him “wake up”. The technology of RecoSMA ™ is intended to stimulate the skin by a directed beam of light. The result is an increase in the production of collagen, the substance responsible for the elasticity of our skin. Thus, without the slightest operation, the skin goes away, “rejuvenates”, filling the collagen wrinkles. Expression lines are formed by the active work of facial muscles that can be relaxed by Botulinum Toxin and Dysport injections. RecoSMA ™ and injection methods can complement each other effectively.

3). How long after a SMAS facelift can I wait for SMA ™ rejuvenation?

It is possible to perform the RecoSMA ™ one to two months after the SMAS facelift.

4). Is the RecoSMA ™ suitable for the upper eyelids?

In particular, RecoSMA ™ laser treatment can be performed on the eye contour area (excluding the eyelid), which allows the skin to be tightened at this point. During the consultation, the laser doctor will know if the treatment is indicated to your personal case and if it can be applied for this purpose, depending on the condition of the skin.

5). Does the RecoSMA ™ have a lifting effect?

It is precisely the RecoSMA ™ that retires the skin. The treatment gives a pronounced lifting effect and smooth even deep wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds.

6). Can I do a RecoSMA ™ in the spring and summer?

The treatment can be done all year, without having to take into account the solar activity.

7). How is the RecoSMA different from the thermo-facelift?

Thermo-facelift and RecoSMA ™ are two methods radically different in their principle of action. The thermo-lifting is based on the action of radiofrequency waves causing coagulation of proteins. The skin is temporarily firmed but the effects of the treatment can be unpredictable thereafter. The RecoSMA ™ is based on the action of the laser which creates a multitude of micro-spots (less than a human cell, they are about 10,000 per square centimeter) in the skin, to initiate a process of rapid tissue regeneration. The result is a striking effect of rejuvenation that lasts for several years. Most notable is that the RecoSMA ™ session is absolutely painless and the recovery period is only 2-3 days.

8). Stretch marks … Do you know “Love your lines”?

“Love the skin you are in!” a new photo blog about women desperate to get rid of stretch marks, who are finally reconciled with these aesthetic imperfections.

Do you like to. Accept yourself as you are. Stretch marks that fit my waist, legs and buttocks … There is nothing wrong with that. They are just a part of me, and I finally accepted them. The love of your skin! (From the original: “Love the skin you are in!”) ….

I am 25 years old, without children. I have stretch marks since school. I am shy in nature and usually hide them with cocoa butter. But now I have learned to accept their presence. Now I can go to the beach, without hiding from prying eyes. They are beautiful. And they will always be part of me.

I have stretch marks since I was 14, although I have always been very thin. Until recently, I suffered a lot, at school I was teased. In college, I meet a nice guy, and he tells me “Your stretch marks – they are part of you and they make you more beautiful.” I thank him, I stopped complaining. Now I go to the beach and do not worry about what I look like. Because stretch marks are part of a real woman.

I am a mother of three, and in each pregnancy I took more than 7 kilos. The overweight has been successfully defeated but left marks … I try to see their beauty ..

This is an excerpt from an Instagram account “Love your lines” (http://instagram.com/loveyourlines/), containing women’s confessions and photographs of their body in black and white. What unites them? They have suffered all their lives, believing themselves imperfect and even ugly to have stretch marks on their thighs, abdomen and other parts of the body. These white marks made unhappy. But now, finally, it was time to say to the world: “Enough, I’m tired, I accept myself as I am and I like myself.”

Comment

Many comments from this blog have been controversial. From full acceptance and even enthusiasm, to insults to these neprekrytyh, no doubt, beautiful women. The reaction of the stormy public is easily explained. In recent times there have been protest voices: “Stop punishing your body”, “Stop the current on the beauty industry”, “Do not hurt women by making them their own inferiority” etc … Broadcast on all the cult channels of youth and beauty crushes more and more these prejudices … And if this situation is deadlocked, the only way to protect yourself is only to escape, to recognize the defeat, to to relax, to surrender … But will we be happier doing the same? That’s the question.

We believe

It is normal that women seek to improve their appearance. It is inherent in the very nature of the woman. The problem is that many of them are deceived by the beauty industry. Stretch marks one of the most serious aesthetic problem. (Basically, scarring, white color gives them connective tissue). And extensive scars, especially those as deep as stretching, with great difficulty, cosmetic correction exposed. How many have used widely advertised creams, scrubs, superficial peels and mesotherapy – to get rid of stretch marks. Deep chemical peels are very painful, with risks of complications, and especially the recovery period is long.

Solution:

All this changed with the appearance of laser nanoperforations. First procedure in the world, which allows to restore the damaged biological tissue. It has been shown not only to rejuvenate the skin, but also to treat a variety of scars, trophic ulcers, bedsores, to clean wounds, etc. We have been using it for many years, and we can confidently talk about the great results. The laser allows the body to rebuild the skin in the form in which it should appear to damage. The results were evaluated using histological studies unequivocally confirming that a progressive replacement with healthy scar tissue.

Some examples of our work …

It is good that the nature of a woman has this desire for perfect. After all, aim for the inaccessible, we can achieve it and change their lives for the better. In the end, it is a massive demand for “youth and beauty” that forces scientists around the world to search, explore, discover .. And maybe, is not so far away the day when “youth eternal “will be the most popular of services … Who knows?
